David Zaslow

David Zaslow has more than 31 years of public accounting experience and is a co-founding Partner of RBZ. He is a recognized authority on the real estate industry, providing audit, review, tax and consulting services to residential, multi-family and commercial developers, land entitlement companies, construction companies, syndicators and investors.

In addition to tax compliance, David’s tax expertise includes consultation with his clients to enable them to select the best alternative to minimize income taxes, including non-taxable exchanges, cost segregation, entity selection, and estate and trust planning, to name a few.

David works directly with business owners to provide business consulting services, such as purchase analysis, entity reorganization, debt restructuring, structuring transaction and exit strategies. His  client base also includes architectural firms, manufacturers and distributors, and hospitality.

Outside of RBZ, David serves on the Board of the Asthma and Allergy Foundation, Los Angeles and the Moriah Society. Previously, he served as a board member of the Real Estate Construction Division of the Jewish Federation.

David is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a member of the Building Industry Association and Urban Land Institute.

David graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University. He has also instructed accounting and financial reporting courses at the University of California, Los Angeles Extension and California CPA Education Foundation.
